I think I may have learned a thing or two just by reading it and now need to reread all of Austen's novels as a late 20's individual with some actual life experience and see what I take from it (the last time was college). I loved everything about this :)

Now I'm dying to read your book! When I first read her books, teens and early twenties, I liked them because of the humor. She could really make me
laugh. Now I still laugh, but I am finding more and more to think about all the time. I have decided Mr. Bennet, despite his clever wit and intellectual superiority, real or imagined, was not a good husband or a good father. I greatly admire Sir Thomas Bertram now. I have even decided that General Tilney probably thought he had the best interests of Henry and Eleanor at heart, looking for marriage partners for them who had wealth and/or titles.
There is always more to learn from Jane Austen, and I shall look forward to reading your book.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4078409689570875027.post-62833473335863068252012-07-29T23:10:44.220-04:002012-07-29T23:10:44.220-04:00Read it Maria :) I did this summer, and it is an ...Read it Maria :) I did this summer, and it is an excellent book.
