He did not come with Pemberley, he did not look like Colin or Matthew, he was not even British. He was an American from Michigan with a twisted sense of humor who drove me crazy for months via internet before I agreed to meet him. 10 years later we are still together and going strong. I truly believe knowing Mr. Darcy just makes you not want to settle for less than the right guy and that is a good thing.
